Breathe. Meditate. Do Yoga. and live in the Now. I didn't know I could love a little fat man that lived hundreds and thousands of years ago. I love the teachings of Buddha. I try and live the teachings of Buddha, but some days it's hard when all I want to do is strangle a customer or even an employee. On those days, I breathe. I use one of the breathing exercises that I found in the book "Breathing Space," and I find that I'm calmer and more focused.
I start my yoga class tomorrow and I'm super nervous. I keep hearing that it doesn't matter what your shape is, yoga is for everyone, but is it for me? I can't touch my toes, my back is weak, and I'm pretty sure my ankles are gonna snap from the weight of my big butt. I bought a yoga outfit, a yoga mat, and I got my bottle of water all ready to go, so I guess I better make it to class and see where this takes me. Wish me luck.
